Twenty years running operations. Now I build the tools, too.
I'm Derrick Banks, founder of DAB Enterprises. I help businesses fix the process, see their numbers clearly and show up well online, using what I learned leading some of the largest operations in the country.

My story
For twenty years I've been the person brought in when an operation needed to grow or needed to be fixed. I started in grocery at Kroger, ran a $100 million Walmart Supercenter, led Amazon operations with 2,800 associates and 101 leaders, and helped a third-party logistics startup grow past $10 million in revenue.
The pattern was the same everywhere. The fix started with the process and the people. It only stuck when the team could see how they were doing, and too often that meant spreadsheets nobody trusted and reports that showed up a week late.
So I started building the tools myself: live dashboards, reporting that pulls itself together, and AI assistants that answer questions straight from the data. In 2026 I earned my Agentic AI certification through Simplilearn and Microsoft. Pairing two decades on the floor with the ability to build changed how quickly a team could go from "what happened?" to "what do we do next?"
That's why I started DAB Enterprises. Small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same clarity that big operators pay for: a website that brings in work, a dashboard that shows what's really happening, and an outside set of eyes from someone who has actually run the floor.
Operations is a people business first. The systems exist to make the work easier for the people doing it.
